Who the hell am I and what the hell is this?
I’ll keep my identity hidden—I’m mysterious like that.
I’ve been through the gamut, working with companies of all sizes—from early-stage startups to massive enterprises—always with a touch of product-led growth. I’ve done marketing, product, and everything in between.
This book is all about PLG. It covers the basics, moves into advanced tactics, and collects PLG recipes I’ve gathered through my journey. I never intended to release this—it was more of a personal handbook. But one friend said, “Hey, why don’t you put this out?”
So here we are. Weak-willed, I suppose.
A lot of what’s in here isn’t original—I’m just the one to synthesize these brilliant ideas from others and put them together with a dash of my personal experience.
As I write this, I’m sitting in a café in Porto, not far from Café Majestic, where JK Rowling penned some of Harry Potter. The cobblestone streets and historic architecture are enough to make anyone feel like they’ve got a masterpiece brewing.
(Granted, she ended up with a multi-billion-dollar seller, and I’m paying Shopify more than this book will ever cost you.)
